In photography, the earth does not become material—it becomes a way of seeing.
The third exhibition of GeoChromia turns its gaze toward the landscape of Serifos and the stories it holds. The participating photographers approach the island through personal journeys, tracing the marks of its geology, mining heritage, and human presence.
Photography becomes a medium of observation and interpretation, transforming the landscape into a vessel of memory, geology, and lived experience. Through diverse photographic perspectives, the exhibition reveals new ways of reading Serifos—where nature, history, and contemporary artistic practice converge.
GeoChromia is an initiative of ARTLAB by Think of Serifos and is presented with the support and under the auspices of the Hellenic Ministry of Culture and the Municipality of Serifos.
