Project Geochromia: Painting & Printmaking Exhibition
The first exhibition of GeoChromia explores the meeting of painting and printmaking with the natural pigments of Serifos. Beginning with the same raw materials, each artist follows a distinct creative path, transforming the island’s earth into personal visual languages and narratives.
In some works, the natural pigments remain immediately recognizable; in others, they are transformed through the artistic process, revealing the richness and diversity of individual approaches. Through these works, the geology of Serifos becomes more than a source of inspiration—it becomes an active element of artistic creation.
GeoChromia is an initiative of ARTLAB by Think of Serifos and is presented under the auspices and with the support of the Hellenic Ministry of Culture and the Municipality of Serifos.
