Mobilities 1, 2, 3, 4, 5
The series Mobilities consists of graphite drawings on paper, inspired by the geological
structures and mineral-bearing veins found in the rocks of Serifos. By exploring the dynamic qualities of mineral formations, the works translate geological matter into an abstract, organic landscape.
Transparency functions as morphological reference to crystalline veins and crevices. Tone
grading, overlapping layers, and line gestures create a sense of depth, movement, and the
continuous transformation of matter.
Balancing observation and abstraction, the works establish a convergence in which geological memory is transformed into a visual field.
