Art Exhibition “Akolouthia – Continuum”

ArtLab presents a selection of artworks created by Alice Arek Nadjarian.
Opening night: 31 May 2026 at 19:00

The works presented in this exhibition are developed in series.
Each painting emerges from another, extending it, transforming it, or responding to it.
This continuity-this Akolouthia- becomes a way of moving through a sensitive and intuitive process, where forms, colours and symbols reappear like fragments of the same inner language. Symbols hold an essential place within this practice. They are not intended to illustrate a specific narrative, but rather to express emotional states, silent tensions, memories and perceptions that are difficult to define through words.

Repeated, displaced or transformed from one work to another, they create a dialogue between intimacy and painted matter. The series then becomes a space of resonance: each painting exists on its own, while also belonging to a larger whole – a sequence of traces, gestures and sensations in constant movement.Through this approach, painting becomes an attempt to make visible what often remains unseen: emotion, memory and inner presence.

The duration of the exhibition will be: May 31 –  June 29, 2026
