The Mosaics We Walked On
The movement of stones from the earth into the domestic space suggests a circularity of
time and matter. Materials transform while retaining traces of their origin.
The wall-mounted mosaic composition, made from stones from Serifos, enters into dialogue with ceramic elements that reference corn roots, introducing the notion of growth and reseeding. The natural and the human realm emerge as interconnected, forming a unified narrative around memory and time.

Kyriaki Angelidakis
Κυριακή Αγγελιδάκη
Kyriaki Angelidakis (b. 1998) is a student at the Athens School of Fine Arts, specializing in
Sculpture (since 2021). She holds a degree from the Department of Sociology at Panteion
University (2016–2021).
During her studies at the Athens School of Fine Arts, she developed a particular interest in
sculpture, while also acquiring valuable knowledge in the fields of painting and video. Her
previous studies in Sociology at Panteion University provided her with a compelling perspective on understanding the relationships between society, memory, and history.
The intersection of visual media—such as sculpture, painting, and video—constitutes a
central element of her practice, as she employs them to articulate the conditions and questions that concern her. Her work focuses on the significance of collective memory and the
history of a place, exploring how a place’s memory and its traditions are shaped through
the experiences and narratives of the people who have lived there.
