For this project, I drew inspiration from the wild, authentic beauty of Serifos. It is my tribute to the history of the island. Through the shapes and textures of the ceramics art, I attempt to capture the heyday of mines—a period of hard, manual labor, deeply connected to the toil and endurance of people back then. My aim is to achieve an aesthetic result with a strong industrial character, which narrates the memory of the land through the power of material.
- Ceramic forms
- Stoneware clay mixed with soils from Serifos
- Technique: Slab building
- Kiln firing at 1250°C
- Decoration with minerals
