Psaroloco Film Festival for Children

A festival for young audiences, centered around their curiosity and spirit of discovery. For the second year, ArtLab, in collaboration with the Psaroloco Media Literacy Project, brings to Serifos a selection of films from the award-winning Psaroloco International Children’s & Young People’s Film Festival, on August 1 & 2, 2026.

AUGUST 1 at 19:30 — for children aged 4–6

Duration: 44 minutes | Recommended Ages: 4–6

A magical journey for children aged 4–6, filled with color and imagination! From a tiny fish and an adventurous squirrel to a hen who dreams of flying, the heroes of these films show us how everyday life can become a game and fear can turn into courage. A warm collection of stories reminding us that no one is ever too small to dream big!

AUGUST 1 at 20:30 — for children aged 7–10

Duration: 68 minutes | Recommended Ages: 7–10

In this program, children aged 7–10 embark on a journey filled with color, music, and imagination. From Angel’s dreamlike worlds and the acceptance of who we are, to the mystery of a haunted house and the magic hidden behind the sound of a storm, the films in this selection explore the power of friendship, curiosity, and inner strength. Get ready for action, emotion, and unexpected twists!

AUGUST 2 at 19:30 — for children aged 4–6

Duration: 44 minutes | Recommended Ages: 4–6

A warm collection of stories for children aged 4–6, where adventure meets kindness! We will journey from Anna’s snowy landscape to the city of dragons, and from a squirrel’s nest all the way to the sky. Our heroes—dragons, little birds, playful leaves, and paper cranes—show us that every day becomes more beautiful when we have a friend to hold our hand. A collection of films reminding us that the most wonderful thing you can ever “find” is a new friend!
