Man’s unbroken relationship with the earth, sacred and demanding at the same time.
This relationship is strongly reflected in the protective clothing worn by miners. A symbol of physical and mental hardship in the bowels of the earth. A shield against the harshness of the earth and, at the same time, a reminder of the human need for survival.
