Loukia Dragatsi
Loukia Dragatsi
She was born in Athens. She studied Visual Arts at the Graduate School of Fine Arts of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, where she graduated in 2006, with Professor Makis Theofilktopoulos. She continued her studies on Ceramic Art at the Museum of Modern Ceramic Studies with Professor Nikos Liaros and Iridanos Laboratory with Professor Menandros Papadopoulos.
She has presented her work in several group exhibitions:
- "From text to the image" Teloglion Institute of Arts A.U.Th.
- "Synergy" Contemporary Art Museum of Thessaloniki
- "Methexis" Depot Art Gallery
- "Prevention through Art" Sotiris Felios collection
Her art pieces grace private collections in Greece and abroad.
Since 2007 she has been working as a teacher in Primary Education. As a parallel venture, she collaborates with Art Foundations and Workshops, designing and teaching educational workshops, such as at the B & M Theocharakis Foundation for the Fine Arts and Music, Modern Pottery Study Center, Kerameio Ceramic Studio in Serifos, Tsichritzis Foundation for the Visual Arts, etc.
In recent years, she lives and works in Athens, Crete and Serifos.
