style=\"font-weight: 400\">Maggy Ioannou was born in Athens Greece. She studied Graphic Design in the Vakalo Art &amp; Design College in Athens Greece. She began her professional career in advertising in 1991 as a freelance illustrator\/visualizer and later on as an Art Director, working in various advertising agencies in Greece.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><br \/><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">In 2016 she wrapped it all up in order to focus fully on her art.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">She has studied ceramics at the ceramic art studio of Marilena Michopoulou, and sculpting with sculptor Altin Patselis. She has attended numerous seminars and workshops in Greece and abroad and is a founding member of the Terractiva art group.
