Presented this year for the third consecutive year, it marks ARTLAB&#8217;s first artistic research project exploring the relationship between geology and contemporary ceramics.<\/p><p>In ceramics, the earth is transformed not only into colour but also becomes an integral part of the artwork itself. The participating ceramic artists experiment with the rocks and mineral-rich soils of Serifos through different clay bodies, glaze compositions, and decorative ceramic techniques. Firing temperatures, kiln atmospheres, and each artist&#8217;s individual approach transform the same natural material in different ways, revealing the richness of its creative possibilities.<\/p><p>Here, geology is more than a source of inspiration.
